The people you just talked to are real. They work at AWS, they look after New Zealand businesses, and they were generous enough to lend us their faces and their voices. Everything else, the brains behind them, the ability to hold a conversation, answer a question and actually help, was built by the Easycoder team.
Who we are
Easycoder is an Auckland-based AWS Advanced Tier partner working in data, cloud and generative AI. We are a team of engineers, architects and consultants who are genuinely interested in this stuff. The kind who stay late because something almost works and we want to see if it will. Most of what we know, we learned by building things that had not been built before, and then finding out what broke.
What We do
We work with enterprises, government agencies and not-for-profits across New Zealand and Australia. Retail, healthcare, financial services, education, FMCG.
Sometimes it is compliance. Reviewing financial advice files by hand takes hours, the answers vary depending on who is reading, and the gaps you miss are the ones that cost you later. We built a platform that reads the file, checks it against the FMCA and the Code, and shows its working. In testing with two large mortgage groups it agreed with the human reviewers more than ninety per cent of the time, and turned hours into minutes.
Sometimes it is a weekend. Premium Payroll Solutions had to stand up an entire new contact centre, domain and cloud environment in one go, while thousands of people at Woolworths, The Warehouse and Ryman were relying on them to get paid. We had them live on Amazon Connect inside 48 hours, with zero downtime and call handling thirty per cent more efficient than before.
Sometimes it is a healthcare organisation with ageing systems, strict privacy obligations and no appetite for risk. Those are the ones we like most, because there is no room to be clever, only to be right.
And sometimes it is a platform that has quietly been costing too much to run for years, and nobody has had time to look at it properly. What stays the same is the approach. We start with the problem, not the technology. We build something small and real before we build something big. And we tell you honestly when AI is not the answer, because quite often it is not.
The part we like most
Someone describes a thing that has been quietly frustrating their business for years. A process nobody has looked at properly. A question that takes three days to answer. A report that eats a week every month.
Then a few weeks later it just works, and everyone wonders why they put up with it for so long.
